Driven by the vision of crafting professional-grade aquatic timing instruments, Frdric Robert took over the brand that was to become Aquastar in 1962. And, as a diver, sailor, pilot, mathematician, and watchmaker, Mr. Robert possessed ample expertise to make his vision come true.
 
Along with the guidance of Marc Jasinski, Aquastar flourished and ended up achieving many technological achievements within the first 10 years of its life. Innovations such as the Deepstars multiple dive decompression bezel have earned the brand plentiful patents over time and kept Aquastar head and shoulders above its competitors. Aquastar watches were so high calibre that, until the mid-1970s, they were only available to purchase through professional diving equipment outlets.
 
Now that the brand has expanded into the mainstream market, anybody and everybody can enjoy the ingenuity of an Aquastar watch.


 
Core features of an Aquastar Watch:
 
All Aquastars feature a steel rotating bezel. 
 
A high-quality sapphire crystal encases every Aquastar’s dial. 
 
Both the hands and hour markers on each model are luminescent, meaning the watches are legible even in lowlight conditions. 
 
Each Aquastar watch is powered by a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement. 
 
Model Specification: DS2-TRO BR
 
The model's stainless steel case measures 36.75 mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness. 
 
Framed by the brand's patented multiple dive decompression bezel is a blue sunray dial with a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock. 
 
Adorning the dial are baton indices which are accented at 12, 3 and 6 o'clock with a chunky luminescent inlay. 
 
The dial also features central luminescent hour and minute hands. 
 
Encasing the dial is a highly domed, triple anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal. 
 
A blue rubber strap secures the watch to the wrist. This model also comes with an additional second NATO-style strap. 
 
This model is water resistant up to 200 metres (20 bar)
