This is in amazing condition one of the cleanest I have seen.
 
 Beautiful Men’s vintage Longines Ultra-Chron automatic mechanical wrist watch. Silver radiant satinised dial with the famous gold applied winged hourglass longines logo & baton indices and gold hands.
 
The watch is powered by the  Longines Caliber 431 automatic fast beat movement operating at 36000 bph . Movement serial number 50554923 which dates this Longines to 1969 . 
 
The reference number on the case back is 80733. 
 
What a gorgeous Longines Ultra-Chron tourneau shaped watch this is.
 
The satinised dial is absolutely mint with the famous applied Longines winged hour glass logo, which to this day is the oldest licensed trademark in watch making.
 
The applied gold indices with a gold framed date window & that ultra slim tourneau case just screams sixties dress watches at their finest so slim in profile and elegant but with a great wrist presence thanks to the case design. Case size is approx 36 mm diameter excluding crown x 42 mm lug to lug with a 20 micron gold filled case is in excellent condition. 
This gold capped case has such a lovely shade & hue to it that only a vintage aged gold watch can give.
 
The watch was serviced just over two years ago & is running perfectly on the timegrapher. It is all original down to the crown that also has the Longines wing logo & the vintage Longines buckle .

 
This Longines in house  431 calibre hi-beat movement is not only a pleasure to look at with the eye catching logo rotor but to actually listen to.The seconds hand sweeps so fluidly as it travels round the dial the dial & beats at 36,000 VPH a hour .
 
I have paired with  a lovely soft  handmade black calf leather from French strap company  Rochet with a lovely red leather inner lining.
 
All from a company that was then at the peak of it's powers & true independent manufacture with so many firsts in the watch industry. Check there history to really explore what a rich past they have.
