This 1974 Tissot Seastar has a real seventies style thats got all the charm you would want from this era of watch design.
 
37 mm x 42mm lug to lug, 12mm thick including domed acrylic crystal. tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with brushed & polished surfaces. A polished beveled bezel with a domed crystal sits above a 2 tone dial with the outer track in a  3 dimmisional raised blue chapter ring that is such a lovely shade of blue that pops in the sunlight.
The silver applied faceted baton indexes for the hours. A textured silver inner dial  with sunburst  vertical brushing.
The date window at 3 o’clock. Baton hands with lume infill complete the dynamic dial. On the reverse, we have a screw-down case back.
 
Inside an Automatic Tissot Cal. 2481, 24 Jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. Fitted on its original very substantial integrated, brushed  stainless steel bracelet which gives the watch its nickname of “Lobster” as it resembles a lobster shell, really funky design and so 1970s. It tapers down to a folding signed clasp . Such a great bracelet design an very comfortable.
This is all original down to the signed Tissot crown it's in great condition its running perfectly on the timegrapher.
 
Its a very clean example and hard to find in this condition compared to some really beat up examples . These need to be seen in the flesh to appreciate all there  design,  colour an charm.
Vintage Tissot watches are very collectable and on the rise in price also. Remember originality and  condition is everything.
