Universal Geneve WW2 Era Field Watch.
 
What a gorgeous field watch from Universal Geneve. It has a good wrist presence and because of the relative long lug to lug  length 41mm & 18 mm lug width and all dial presence it fits like a 36mm .  My wrist is 6 & 3/4 inch for reference. The lugs are not fixed so you have the option of two piece straps.
 
DIAL
That beautiful warm eggshell, ll creamy patina dial with the richly aged aribic numerals  Followed below by 24 clock denominations. Then the  outer minutes track which denotes 5 minute intervals .The hands are classic sword style with a long sweeping seconds hand. Its fitted with a lovely reddish brown, new, german made Condor soft grain leather military bund style  strap.
That cost £35 and  matchs the watch so well and gives you different options on how to wear
CASE
All steel construction case which when viewed in profile it has a great curved sweep almost teardrop style. It  just adds to the charm of what is a cracking field watch from the 1940's, from one of the most renowned manufactures that is Universal Geneve.
