Yema/Lejour ca. 1969 Valjoux 7765 Manual. Used by Heuer
Comes with both the bracelet & lovely French Rochet super supple leather calf skin racing strap with contrasting red leather inner, hand made that suits the watch so well.
I have to say its one of the best looking chronograph watches I've come across.
Those square cream chronograph sub dials with the quick date cut into the register is such a clever & aesthetic touch.
All from a company famous for the Mario Andretti Yema Rallye chronograph of the same era. Le jour being Yema's name for when they International distributed watches outside of France.
There isn't a thing I would change about this watch from design from the dial, hands or case its simply gorgeous.
Most importantly it has its own style & DNA which is why vintage watches hold there charm in a world of modern reinterpretations this is the real thing & in superb vintage condition.

This is a lovely looking watch with matte charcoal black dial & white out of black train track edge with tachymeter and a red kilometer-based telemeter following around the inside.
Those gorgeous square chronograph registers.
It has an acrylic hi-domed crystal and a slim high-polished case. The hour markers are applied faceted baton polished brass in color, as they need to stand out against this complicated dial.
The movement is a Valjoux/eta 7765 with the arrangement of registers in reverse of the classic three register grouping.
The thirty-minute recorder is at the top with the watch seconds on the left. The third register contains the date in red out of white. The registers display the '60s TV screen design used by Heuer, Breitling, etc.
The hands are also polished, with the register hands having "gauge" dial hands. The dial reads
"Lejour - Incabloc" with "France" at the bottom.
The movement is very interesting, as it is signed "G. Monnin," as is the case back interior - See photos.
Monnin was a company who put Heuer watches together for the French market in the '70s and was a specialist watchmaking house that serviced many clients in France.
